In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have implemented COVID-19 case information as a Sunrise map layer and have enabled it in all Sunrise accounts.
How does it work? The COVID-19 cases layer is already active in every sunrise account.
Hover over the red circles on the map to see confirmed positive case and death counts to-date at the country level, the state/province level for the U.S., Canada, Australia, and China, and at the U.S. county level. U.S. state-level data also includes positive (confirmed and presumptive) and negative case counts to date and the number of hospitalizations (where available), while the number of active and recovered cases are available for areas outside of the U.S. and Canada.
To toggle the COVID-19 Cases layer on and off, select the arrow along the right edge of the Sunrise map to reveal the side menu panel. Next, select the Overlays tab as seen below; the COVID-19 Cases layer will be the top option available in this tab. Use the radio button to display or hide the COVID-19 Cases layer.
What steps do I need to take?
No action is needed. The COVID-19 Cases layer is available in every Sunrise account today and can be toggled on/off according to the instructions above.
