Food Logistics recognizes Everstream’s Mark Russo, Jon Davis, and Heather Kosztowny for their achievements across the global cold food supply chain

Jon Davis and Mark Russo have been honored in the Lifetime Achievement category, which recognizes leaders who have made outstanding contributions to the supply chain and logistics space for more than 10 years.
With more than 35 years of experience, Jon Davis is widely considered one of the foremost experts on the impact of weather and climate on global commodities. This year, Jon Davis has provided analysis that applies weather and climate information specifically to the supply chain industry to mitigate as much risk to companies as possible. These insights are particularly critical in the food supply chain due to complex shipments that are temperature and time sensitive. Notably, Jon helped a major food manufacturer protect all soup shipments from freezing over a three-year period.
Mark ensures the integrity, accuracy and optimal efficiency of Everstream’s weather data by delivering unparalleled meteorological and climate insights. Over the past 12 months, Mark instituted an innovative internal tracking dashboard for critical shipping waterways, which has become a key resource of the company’s Applied Meteorology, Climate, and Intelligence Solutions teams. Extending beyond organizational borders, Mark has served as a weather and climate expert at four industry seminars over the past year, ranging from transportation technology to dairy and agriculture risk management.
Heather Kosztowny has been honored in the Rising Star category, for her achievements, hard work and vision that have shaped the supply chain network.
